Personal information means personal information as defined in POPI, and includes, but is not limited to, your full name, surname, email address, identity number, contact details and financial history.

1.2.       By registering as a Nova Moon user and consenting to the Terms, you agree that we may collect, process, use and store your personal information in terms of this clause and the Terms, as may be amended from time to time, or by further privacy policies that may be published on the Nova Moon Website, which will comply with POPI.

1.3.       Nova Moon will collect information about you which you provide to us through your registration and use of the Nova Moon Website and Services, through any communications between you and us and from Nova Moon Selected Third Parties and other third party sources like credit bureaus.

1.4.       Nova Moon will only hold and use your personal information which we reasonably need to perform our duties and provide the Services to you, to consider or respond to interactions with you or to fulfil our regulatory or other business obligations.

1.8.       Nova Moon Selected Third Parties, whom Nova Moon may carefully select perform certain Services on our behalf are bound by contract to maintain the security of your personal information and to use it only as permitted by us. Nova Moon Selected Third Parties do not retain, use or store any personal information, they merely act as conduits in obtaining and transferring Services to Nova Moon. We will not share your information with them unless we are satisfied that they have adequate security measures in place to protect your personal information.

1.9.       Nova Moon will always obtain your prior consent before passing on your transaction data to any other third parties not referred to in these Terms or on the Nova Moon Website.

1.11.    Whilst your personal records are available in your profile once you have logged into the Nova Moon Website, you have a right to access certain personal records we hold of yours as prescribed by POPI. Fees may be charged as prescribed in terms of POPI, which we will quote to you before we supply you with any such personal information.
